Due to shift change at 7 am & 7 pm, restrictions apply for scheduling isolations and restorations when not using a dedicated crew. Please only request start and restoration time between the following time frames.

Day Shift: 09:00am - 05:30pm

Night Shift: 08:30pm - 05:30am

***Important Information and Requirements***
Hydro Ottawa Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements for Fire Alarm & Protection Companies Owners, or their representatives and Contractors entering the vault. Owners or their representative and Contractor personnel shall be in compliance to the following PPE requirements when completing fire alarm inspection, testing, maintenance or operating in the customer vaults when it is energized and with controlled access by Hydro Ottawa.

  1. AR/FR from wrist to cuff (AR/FR rated one piece coverall or combination of pants and long sleeve shirt)
  2. Safety Glasses *
  3. Safety Footwear *
  4. Hard Hat *

If the use of a ladder is required to perform the inspection, testing or maintenance, it shall be a CSA approved fibreglass ladder (non-conductive). No metal ladders are accepted as part of the approved equipment allowed in customer vaults when it is energized.
